Leo Carrillo Beach Camp Out in Malibu

We went camping the night before Thanksgiving. This is Gillian's last camping trip before she leaves for her mission to Nicaragua in January!

Thanksgiving day it was in the 80's and it felt hot!

Checking out the tide pools.

Gillian and Kendra drove home from BYU for the weekend. Yea!

Found some fish and crabs.

So much for keeping everyone dry...

Hermit Crab Find.

Evan wanted to climb the rocks up to the lifeguard station.

Kyle took a day off from dental school to come with us. Someone looks pretty pleased that he came along...

Static from the air mattress.... makes a world of difference when sleeping on the ground.

Hailey told Kendra she looked like a caterpillar then hopped in her sleeping bag.

My kids were up bright and early at 6:00 am yelling for everyone to wake up since the sun was up.

Enjoying some bacon.

Rock hopping.

This boy just loves to climb.

Back to the beach before we head home to cook Thanksgiving dinner.

So much for keeping Hailey dry... again.

Hailey loves Kyle and talks about him all the time. She told us she likes his smile, that he holds her hand, and that he's a leader. She even talked to him about coming over for a playdate.

I guess Hailey didn't want to share with Kendra.
