Flat Stanley Goes to the Doctor's

Steve came home with a giant cupcake which the kids nibbled at for a few days. There must have been a terrible dye in it because it stained Evan's bum green for a few days. I threw the cupcake out to Steve's dismay.

A garden princess.

Hailey showing Flat Stanley how to build Legos.

See my motorcycle, Mom?

The castle is under seige.

Evan loves the catapult.

Hailey was building out of "gold".

Flat Stanley made it to the movies twice.

Flat Stanley had an accident where his foot got ripped of by little hands fighting over him.

Evan's been coughing so we took him to the doctor's to get checked out.

Flat Stanley had to wait his turn to get his foot fixed.

Someone forgot to tell Stanley this is a rough house. Toughen up Buddy.

We knocked him out for surgery.

Stanley looks better than when we got him.

Then we all went to the library.  They even have puppets to play with now.

Evan was busy building a zoo.

I mentioned to Steve that he and the kids should build a zoo.  We needed some more animals and the best deal Steve could find was from a seller over in France. And so we wait, impatiently for our little French animals to arrive.

In the meantime we have our shark tank.

And our horse corral.

Before we have to send Flat Stanley back to Sean's school, he went to work with Steve one day. He got to see how they make the dog talk on Disney's Dog with a Blog.

This is Steve's desk at work. His light casts shadows on the wall from his Doctor Who dalek toys.

St Patrick's

 A new book!

And a pot of gold.

And white chocolate. Yum!

We played pirates outside on the picnic table.

Evan was opposed to the monkey having a sword.

Shark Attack!

We were looking at this map of France and the kids noticed snails on there. When I told them Nana & Papa ate snails over there the kids were mortified and in shock. (Yesterday we had to talk about how we don't eat bugs after Evan put a roly poly in Hailey's water bottle.)

Found the escape boat.

Checking himself out in the mirror. A new pair of underpants after having an accident.

We made sweet potato noodles..... trying something new. After dinner we went sand saw the new Cinderella movie which Hailey loved. Evan lost interest and finally he and Daddy left to spent the last quarter of the movie out in the foyer.

A Morning Outside

Evan refused to wear a diaper, saying he's a big boy and wants to wear underpants. He did really well using the potty today but I'm still skeptical... we've been down this road before.

Lots of Singing.

Empowered by his Batman underpants, Evan leaps about.

Evan's songs interrupted Hailey's song.

Not amused.

Get Set! Jump!

And this goes on and on.

Hailey made a leprechaun trap. There is a red & yellow rainbow inside the jar with a little pot of gold..

Little Miss Lego is the bait.

Cinderella was supposed to be the bait, but she had to wash her hair.

On a walk after dinner.

This cat is friendly.

This one was much more wary.

The kids love to look for cats.

Careful with that boy!

Time to head home.

Someone has been busy at the fairy door!

All ready for the kids to find the goodies in the morning.
