A Happy Baby Evan

He has grown so much in the last few months.

Can't seem to get enough of those cute baby smiles.

Sometimes he laughs when he is sleeping... and his whole belly shakes. What does a baby even dream about?

So glad he is ours to keep.

All in a Day

We headed out early this morning to beat the traffic and catch a  free movie screening in Hollywood.

Steve was pretty excited and loved the movie. I love that we got free food from the concession stands and goody bags to take home.

Hailey was interested in her 3-D glasses at first but then watched the rest of the movie without them.  She got too tired to stay awake until the end.

Just waiting to be set free.

She wanted to run around and twirl in the water.

She was just caught up in her own little world.

By the time we left she was sopping wet.

Next we stopped off a famous bakery on the way home.

We checked out the cake showroom and all Hailey could say was "wow" over and over.

There were tons of  pretty cakes to look at.

All these cakes made Hailey hungry...hungry for frosting.

So we got her a mini cupcake all her own.

We also got some cupcakes for after dinner tonight.

Then we met Steve's parents for dinner in honor of Lynda's birthday. Here is what we had for dinner:

Roasted pear and arugula brushetta.

Stuffed Mushrooms.

Lobster Carbonara.

Chicken Parmesan and Spaghetti.

Ziti in a creamy tomato sauce.

Butternut Squash Ravioli.

Then we made a visit to the American Girl Doll store, which Hailey loved, before we headed home.

Things that Make Hailey Happy.

This is what Hailey had for lunch.

We like it when she eats healthy food.

Hailey girl loves high heels...... see that smile on her face?
(She does have a pair of toddler heels, but she wants the real deal.)

She seems to think she needs a pair to wear with her dress. (Same scenario every day.)

What am I going to do with her??

For only being 2 1/2 she does an excellent job walking in them.

I keep telling her flats are just as cool as heels, but she is not convinced yet.

McClellan Family Fun

Unlike Hailey, Evan is a morning person and is super smiley when he wakes up.

Hailey just wants to help Steve.

Somebody played in the mud... can you tell?

We seem to have quite a few apples this year.

They still need another month or two of growing before they will be ready to pick.

Last year Hailey and I saved some pumpkin seeds to plant and this is one of the pumpkins we grew.

Just wanted a snack before bed.
(She eats at least an apple or two a day.)

Steve did family home evening with some mission visuals he saved, which recieved lots of clapping and cheering from Hailey.

Occasionaly Steve and I find a few moments late at night to play a fun game (and enjoy some delicious hot cocoa).

Still working on playhouse for Christmas gift

Crown molding and window panes are in.

Vines have been started on the side of the house.

Got to have at least one butterfly.
Still quite a few things left to do, according to Steve.

I saw this tutorial online and made this sofa out of cardboard and fabric.

Steve caught the space shuttle Endeavour flying right over our house on its way to the LAX airport today.  It was pretty impressive.  (This is a picture taken by Blochi of HDRLabs).

Mini McClellans

Hailey seems to have lost her clothes.

But found her jewelry and high heels. (So scandalous!)

She also likes to strut around in her Mama's high heels.

She already knows the answer is "No, you cannot have butter for dinner."

He's so cute in his little overalls.

Looks like Jeni has her hands full.

Just hanging out in his Bumbo.

Evan needed something to wear for Church so we bought him some new collared outfits.

Finally all konked out.
