A Fun Saturday

Look what Steve pulled out of the garage.

This was the first time the kids have played.

As you can see Hailey was pretty excited.

It's almost more than Steve can take.

Evan had one goal and that was to beat Hailey.

And he did.

Then time for Lego building.

Steve didn't think one Lego shelf for mini figures was enough so he finished his second one.

He seems to think we need more space for after Christmas. Perhaps he is thinking about the big Lego set he bought for himself for Christmas. You get put on the naughty list in this house when you buy your own Christmas presents.

Here is what has already made its way onto the new shelf.

Another visit from the tooth fairy

Two teeth in one week. The tooth fairy is going to be broke if this keeps up.

Thanksgiving Day

We spent the day with the Steve's parents.  Lots of Lego building going on here.

Hit 20 weeks this week... half way done being pregnant. No one is more relieved than me.

Here's the little one from my first ultrasound appointment.

Tada! Isn't this the cutest Lego Christmas set?

This little toy shop even has a working light in it.

This one is Santa's workshop.

You have to have at least one Christmas train.

Santa has a reindeer and Mrs.Claus has a plate of cookies.

So fun. We had a great time visiting.

Jump out at Mom.

These two have been  hiding and jumping out at me all morning.

They are so amused with themselves.

The Tooth Fairy Comes

Steve started a new job yesterday. I let the kids stay up  pretty late until he got home. Hailey was so excited to show him where her first tooth fell out. Today they were both in need of a nap even though they both claimed they were not tired.

Looks like the tooth fairy brought her a single dollar.  She told me  I should lose about 20 teeth so we can go shopping with tooth fairy money.

The day has been filled with playing outside, playing house & Legos, fort building. coloring, and reading.

These two have been playing really well together. I suggested we go to the park, but they didn't want to go. They just wanted to play by themselves at home.

I love the look on Evan's face. He asked Hailey to read him a bedtime story.

Hailey gets a loose tooth

After playing at the park she realized she has a loose tooth.

Her friends told her the tooth fairy will bring her ten dollars. I think we have a different lower paying tooth fairy that comes to our house. I blame it on Obama.

We will see how long it takes to come out.

During the Week

Hailey was so excited to participate in the Primary Sacrament Program.

Steve went to a community meeting at Hailey's school.

He was gone for 2 hours. I only wanted the 10 minute summary.

Looks like it was a heated meeting.

Glad I stayed home!

Signs of the first winter tomato.

We are also growing lettuce.

Broccoli + Cauliflower

Swiss Chard

Even our grapes are coming back.

Evan and I started these seeds a few weeks ago.

Then we left them outside. On the trash barrel. With the lid on. All day while we were gone visiting Steve's Mom and Dad. Now they're all dead.

Meanwhile, we're looking after the plants from Hailey's class during Thanksgiving break.
