Block Party with Santa

 

Tonight I took Hailey, Evan, and James to the Christmas block party at the Madden's.

It has been a few years since we last went, what with Covid and Dad passing away.

It was nice to get invited to come out. Aubrey wasn't feeling well so she stayed home with Jeni.

Evan thinks he's just too big to see Santa.

We had some food and did some crafts before Santa arrived on a fire engine.

Hailey never wants to do her homework.... I don't blame her - after being in school all day. Evan on the other hand has been asking for "homework" since Hailey started school. I am so over printing worksheets off the internet. Thank goodness there is a Stars Wars Preschool workbook.

Hailey was excited to participate in the Nativity play at the Ward Christmas party.  It was really cute and the Primary kids did a great job.  This was the best Ward Christmas party.

We had a mystery box waiting for us at home. I guess Steve found a groupon for one of those monthly subscription boxes that sends you nerdy stuff once a month. He  was so excited about the socks and tetras stickers....no surprise there!
