Today is Independence Day and the day for assembling 8 bookshelves.
This was the living room/dining room but is now our new library.
Right next to the front door we have 3 tall bookshelves full of books.
On the other side, next to the kitchen, are 3 tall bookshelves full of Lego sets.
And in-between are 2 short bookshelves for both books and Legos.
But it wasn't all work today.
We also had a BBQ at the Ashcraft's.
And cooled off in the backyard.
Gillian had water balloons for the kids to play with.
All in all, a good day.
