El Dorado Regional Park

This week we spent Thanksgiving Day with my Mom and Dad, then celebrated with the Ashcrafts yesterday.

We've been visiting Mom and Dad every weekend for the past several months.  Jeni and the kids have been really great about spending every one of their Saturdays to see Papa.  I can tell our time with him is running out; he has trouble talking or even focusing, but it's good to go visit him.  And to be there for Mom.

Well since we just visited Mom and Dad this week we wanted to use our Saturday to take a family trip outside.

We went to El Dorado Regional Park and hit the trails.

There were quite a few turtles hanging out.

We packed lunch and met the Ashcrafts there.

The kids just loved being outside, running and jumping.

And climbing.

From the wooded area we drove over to the the playground in the park area.

They are so happy to get outside.

Look at that little face.

Our little family.

What a nice day to be outside.
